Q1: How does TuitionMatch match me with the right teacher?
A1: We match based on your class, subject, location, learning goals, budget, and preferred mode (online/offline). Our team manually verifies each match for quality fit. You can also browse teachers directly and request a demo with anyone you prefer.
Q2: What if I don't like the matched teacher?
A2: You can request a different match at no additional cost. We’ll find another verified teacher (3 different tutors/centers within 7 days) with a different teaching style that better suits your needs. Your satisfaction is our priority!
Q3: How long does matching take?
A3: Most students are matched within 24 hours of sharing their requirements on WhatsApp. However, if you’re looking for a specific subject or exam prep (JEE/NEET), it might take 2-3 days to find the perfect fit.
Q4: Can I request a teacher directly?
A4: Yes! You can browse all verified teachers on our platform, view their profiles, read student reviews, and request a demo with any teacher you like. You have complete freedom to choose.
Q5: How are teachers verified on TuitionMatch?
A5: All teachers go through a rigorous 4-step verification process:
1. Document Verification: We check educational degrees, ID, and address proof
2. Background Check: Criminal record verification & employment history check
3. Demo Session Monitoring: We observe first 1-2 sessions for quality
4. Ongoing Monitoring: Monthly reviews of student ratings and feedback
Q6: Are teachers actually qualified?
A6: Yes, every teacher on our platform has verified qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree minimum (in their teaching subject)
• Teaching certification (B.Ed, M.Ed, or equivalent)
• Minimum 3+ years of teaching experience
• Special expertise for JEE/NEET/entrance exams All credentials are verified by our team before listing.
Q7: How does payment work?
A7: Common payment methods include: • UPI transfer • Bank transfer • Monthly packages (you pay for full month upfront) • Pay-per-session (pay after each class)
Q8: What's your refund policy?
If you’re not satisfying with the first teacher then you can request for another teacher (Within 7 days of Trial period) and come to us We’ll suggest another best verified teacher.
**Validity:** 7 days from the date of your first demo class
**Maximum teachers:** Up to 3 different tutors/centers
**Demo classes:** 2-3 classes per teacher (depending on their availability)
**Subjects/Classes:** Must remain the same (e.g., you can’t try “Class 10 Math” with Teacher 1 and then ask for “Class 12 Physics” with Teacher 2)
**What is NOT included:**
– Changing your requirements mid-way (class, subject, or location)
– Extending validity beyond 7 days
– Unlimited teachers (maximum 3)
– Canceling after attending the first demo (fee is non-refundable)

### After Enrollment:
Once you enroll with a tutor/center through TuitionMatch:
– **You pay fees directly to them** (not to us)
– **We earn a commission** from the center/tutor (this is how we sustain our service)
– **You get ongoing support** – If you face any issues, contact us and we’ll help resolve them

## 3. Refund & Cancellation Policy {#refund-cancellation-policy}
### When You CAN Get a Refund:
**Before any demo is attended** – Full ₹99 refund if you cancel before the first demo class
**If we fail to provide options** – If we cannot arrange any demo within 3 working days, full refund
**If tutor/center cancels repeatedly** – If the center cancels demos twice without rescheduling, full refund

### When You CANNOT Get a Refund:
**After attending the first demo** – Once you attend even 1 demo class, ₹99 is non-refundable
**If you don’t like any of the 3 teachers** – Our job is to provide options; final choice is yours
**If you change your mind mid-process** – E.g., “I decided I don’t need tuition anymore”
**If you miss scheduled demos** – If you skip demos without informing us in advance

– Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within **5-7 working days**
– Refunds will be made to the **same UPI ID or bank account** used for payment
– To request a refund, WhatsApp us with your booking details
Q9: Is my payment safe?
A9: Yes! Payments are made directly between you and us using secure methods like: • UPI (safest, instant) • Bank transfer • Digital payment apps (PhonePe, Google Pay, etc.)
We recommend using secure payment methods and keeping transaction receipts for your records. For disputes, contact us immediately.
Q10: What's included in the free demo?
A10: Your demo session (20-30 minutes) includes: ✓ Assess the teacher’s teaching style and approach ✓ Ask subject-specific questions and doubts ✓ Understand the teaching methodology ✓ Discuss fees, timing, and schedule ✓ Confirm if you want to continue
Q11: How do I book a demo?
A11: Booking is simple:
1. Find a teacher you like on TuitionMatch
2. Click “Book Seat” or “Chat with Expert”
3. Message the teacher your preferred timing
4. Teacher confirms availability
5. Join the session via video call/WhatsApp
6. Complete your free 20-30 minute demo

Q12: Can I attend a demo before committing?
A12: Absolutely! The demo is mandatory before enrolling with any teacher.
This helps you make an informed decision:
• No commitment needed
• You can try multiple teachers if you like
• You’re free to choose after comparing
Many students try 2-3 teachers before deciding. That’s perfectly fine!
Q16: How will I track my progress?
A16: Your teacher provides regular progress tracking through: • Monthly assessments and tests • Grade tracking (if applicable) • Feedback on strengths and weaknesses • Study plan adjustments
Q17: What if I don't see improvement?
A17: We recommend minimum 8-12 weeks of consistent sessions to see measurable improvement. If you complete 8-12 sessions and still don’t see results: • Schedule a review with your teacher • Discuss what’s working and what’s not • Consider changing teaching approach • Or request a different teacher match at no cost
